The NFL week 17 betting lines are some of the more fascinating of the entire season. This weekend is one of the last few opportunities for gambling on NFL games until next season. the league somehow made it to the regular-season finale despite wreaking havoc throughout the country, causing some teams to play with no active quarterbacks, and others to play with no starting receivers or running backs. That being said, we made it to the last week of the season. Here is a list of my seven best bets, with additional betting options included for (almost) every game, as well as all different types of player props, and, finally, a few special parlay opportunities.
NFL Week 17 Betting Lines Advice
Week 17 is often one of the most challenging weeks to bet, because of the difficulty in determining which teams will play the starters trying to win, and which teams will deem this weekend’s game as a glorified exhibition. That being said, I have zeroed in on several of the NFL week 17 betting lines, as well as individual player performances, that I view as having excellent value.
My 7 Winners of the Week
NFL Week 17 betting lines
Buccaneers -6.5 (-115)
Whether Tampa Bay covers the spread or not has to do almost entirely with how much they care about this game. With a playoff seed locked up, it is entirely possible that they choose to sit Tom Brady and other starters, having little motivation to win and being more concerned with health. Or, at the very least, only play their starters for a half and then let them rest. That being said, I have a feeling Tampa has a strong desire to win due to their matchup implications. If Tampa wins, they are guaranteed to play the winner of the NFC East in the playoffs, which is entirely preferable to playing against Green Bay, New Orleans, or Seattle.
Ravens Alternate Point Spread -7 (-240)
The Ravens should absolutely win this game, given that they are not only the better team but are also fighting for their playoff lives. However, Cincy has played surprisingly well in their past two games, so if you are the more risk-averse type, feel free to tease this game down to a touchdown if it makes you more comfortable. I don’t think it will be quite this close to needing the extra half-point to 6.5, and this way I keep somewhat reasonable odds.
NFL Week 17 betting lines: To Score Touchdown
Derrick Henry -335
The Alabama product is having an incredible season, and in his last game against Houston Henry went off for 212 yards and two touchdowns.
DaVante Adams -200
Adams has been on a tear this season and coming off a three-touchdown performance we can expect Adams to continue his scoring ways.
Rushing Yards:
Lamar Jackson Over 65.5 (-112)
This is a fairly low total for Jackson, who is one of the most prolific dual-threat quarterbacks in the league.
Receiving Yards
DaVante Adams Over 87.5 (-118)
Adams is averaging slightly over 100 receiving yards per game this season.
Over/Under:
Steelers-Browns UNDER 42 Points
Don’t expect the Pittsburgh offense to help out that much with Mason Rudolph starting under center. Without the Steelers doing their part, Cleveland will not be able to carry the day alone against a stingy, battle-tested, and talented Steeler defense, even if their most elite playmakers will be resting.
ATS and O/U NFL Week 17 Betting Lines:
Packers-Bears ATS: Packers -4.5 (-109)
The Packers have one of the elite offenses in the league, led by all-world QB Aaron Rodgers, superstar wideout DaVante Adams, and Aaron Jones, who has been a revelation this season at running back. Sure. The Bears have improved a little bit since their last beatdown at the hands of Green Bay, but I don’t see them doing enough to win outright or even to keep the score within a touchdown.
Buffalo-Miami
ATS: Buffalo -3 (-109)
Moneyline: MIA +107 ML
O/U: Under 43 (-109)
New York Jets–New England Patriots
ATS: Patriots -3 (-106)

ATS: Vikings -4 (-112)
O/U: Under 54 (-112)
Seattle Seahawks-San Francisco 49ers
ATS: Seattle -6.5
New Orleans Saints-Carolina Panthers
Alternate ATS: Saints -2.5 (-195)
Over/Under: Over 46.5 (-110)
Atlanta Falcons-Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Over/Under: Over 50.5
Baltimore Ravens-Cincinnati Bengals
Over/Under: Over 44.5
Los Angeles Chargers–Kansas City Chiefs
Over/Under: Over 44
Las Vegas Raiders–Denver Broncos
Over/Under: Under 51
