The Miami Heat short handed roster is looking at a possible nine players missing from their lineup in Tuesday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers. With the absence of stars, Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler along with many others, the Heat face what might be their most difficult challenge yet in the 2020-21 season.
Miami Heat Injury Update:
There are nine possible players ruled out for Tuesday’s game against the 76ers; eight are officially out, one is questionable. That will leave the Miami Heat roster extremely short-handed. The primary cause of this is due to the league’s health and safety protocols. This rules out:
- Bam Adebayo
- Jimmy Butler
- Goran Dragic
- Avery Bradley
- Maurice Harkless
- Kendrick Nunn
- KZ Okpala
- Udonis Haslem
Meyers Leonard (shoulder strain) is also questionable to play.
While Gabe Vincent (knee) and Kelly Olynyk (groin contusion) are both battling injuries, they are both listed as probable for tonight’s action.
Miami Heat Starting Lineup:
This leaves the Heat with eight active players (assuming Olynyk and Vincent play). Expect to see rookie, Precious Achiuwa, in his starting lineup debut:

PG: Tyler Herro
SG: Duncan Robinson
SF: Andre Iguodala
PF: Precious Achiuwa
C: Kelly Olynyk
This leaves the bench with Chris Silva, Max Strus and Gabe Vincent. Expect Sophomore guard, Tyler Herro, to get a ton of minutes alongside Robinson.
