As we enter the second round of the playoffs, one thing is clear, the future is unpredictable. No one saw the Browns absolutely handing the Steelers their lunch on Sunday, and most had the Seahawks taking down the Rams. Alas, here we are. The Browns and Rams are still in the playoffs and we are doing a Super Bowl champion predictions article.
By the time the 2021 season starts, this may already be something to laugh at, but for now, it gives us a glimpse into the possible future of the league that we all know and love. Before the 2010 season, most people would not have assumed the Patriots would win multiple Super Bowls…again. It will obviously be far from perfect but it is still a very interesting peek at the team’s most promising squads. It will be interesting to see if these teams’ futures are as bright as most prognosticate them to be.
Entering a New Decade
Super Bowl LV
Kansas City Chiefs over the Los Angeles Rams
Most people are counting the Rams out of the 2021 Super Bowl champion predictions, and they could end up being right if Jared Goff is unable to deliver in the biggest game of his career, but they have the NFL’s number one ranked overall defense and third-best against the run.
As for the Chiefs, this is an easy one to call as far as the AFC side of things. Kansas City will be a part of many Super Bowl Champion predictions for this season and many years to come. Just keep reading and you will see what I’m talking about.
Future Super Bowl Champion Predictions
Super Bowl LVI
Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the Buffalo Bills
Tom Brady has stated that he will be playing another year, in 2021, and what a better way for him to go out. The Buccaneers will face competition to keep their receiving corps intact but should be able to otherwise spend another off-season adjusting their team to Brady’s strengths.
The Bills will be a popular pick in 2021 Super Bowl champion predictions, and here is no different. The talent that Josh Allen is displaying is on a different level than all but a handful of teams in the NFL. He wills his team to the Super Bowl, but in the end, he isn’t able to overcome the Brady retirement narrative.

Super Bowl LVII
Baltimore Ravens over the San Fransisco 49ers
After shedding salary in other areas, Eric Decosta is able to surround Lamar Jackson with the type of receiving and offensive line talent that he desperately needs. Baltimore needs to win now, while Lamar is still the fastest man in the league.
No one should count the 49ers out of any football game, but this one would be tough for them. On the second to last play of the game, Fred Warner misses a tackle on Lamar Jackson setting up a Justin Tucker Super Bowl winning kick.
Super Bowl LVIII
Green Bay Packers over the Miami Dolphins
Remember the retirement narrative? Well, it comes back again, as Aaron Rodgers is able to lead his team into these Super Bowl champion predictions on the backs of a tear-jerking announcement that 2023 would be his final season.
Brian Flores and trade acquisition Deshaun Watson help lead the Dolphins to a Super Bowl loss before Flores eventually leaves Miami to take over for Josh McDaniels–after McDaniels flames out as Bill Belichick’s replacement.

Super Bowl LIX
Kansas City Chiefs over the Los Angeles Rams
The Chiefs are back again in the Super Bowl champion predictions, as promised. This time, they get their third ring in a six-year period by beating a Rams squad that is led by third-year QB Desmond Ridder.
Before the 2024 season, there is a lot of conversation in the league about who will be the best coach in the league after Andy Reid and Belichick retire after the year. Some may say it is Kyle Shanahan, but McVay proves by beating him in a classic NFC championship.
Super Bowl LX
Los Angeles Rams over the Kansas City Chiefs
In a Super Bowl rematch, Ridder and McVay are too much for the Chiefs defense to handle and the Rams win their first ring in 25 years. After the season McVay turns down an offer to coach the Patriots and instead remains with the Rams.
The Chiefs can’t win every Super Bowl they are in…right? All joking aside, Eric Bienemy, in his first year as head-coach for KC after a successful tenure as the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons, leads the Chiefs into the Super Bowl champion predictions, only to fall just short.

Super Bowl LXI
San Diego Chargers over the Chicago Bears
Justin Herbert had a tough road to making an appearance in these Super Bowl Champion predictions because of the Chiefs, but they eventually get their day. This will be Herbert’s seventh year in the league, and by this point, he is the second-best passer in the league (Mahomes).
They are able to take down a Bears team led by fifth-year stud QB, Sam Howell. The Bears are able to get into the position to get Howell with a historically bad 2021 season in which they lose the most games in franchise history. They will surely need that one bad year in order to get back into people’s Super Bowl champion predictions.

Super Bowl LXII
Pittsburgh Steelers over the Detroit Lions
Kedon Slovis and the Steelers finally bring the franchise back to where they are used to being. After a rocky first two years in the league, Slovis becomes a pro-bowler in his third year and by 2027 he is the third-best QB in the league behind Patrick Mahomes and Herbert.
Now that Brad Holmes is in charge in Detroit, look for things to turn around quickly. Holmes is known as one of the best talent evaluators in the NFL and will bring a resume of helping build the Los Angeles Rams from nothing to what they are now. They won’t be a sexy team for future Super Bowl champion predictions, but keep an eye on them.
Super Bowl LXIII
New England Patriots over the New York Giants
You can’t keep them down forever…unfortunately. In just his second season as head coach of New England, Flores leads the Patriots to a big win over the Giants in a Super Bowl rematch.
This part of my Super Bowl champion predictions will likely draw some raised eyebrows, but this franchise will start to head in the right direction after they hire Monti Ossenfort as GM after the 2021 NFL season.

Super Bowl LXIV
Jacksonville Jaguars over the New York Jets
Trevor Lawrence leads his team into the Super Bowl champion predictions, finally, in his ninth year in the league. His appearance in the game is overshadowed by the matchup between Lawrence and Justin Fields after they went 1-2 in the 2021 NFL draft.
Fields, also in his tenth year in the league, has never reached top-five status like Lawrence has, but has consistently made pro-bowls and has an above-average record. In the end, he loses in a surprising defensively dominated game.
