After making a successful BRAVE Combat Federation debut in his home country of Russia at BRAVE CF 46, Ali Bagautinov has been confirmed by BRAVE CF President Mohammed Shahid as the newest addition to the tournament’s lineup.

BRAVE Combat Federation’s Flyweight World Title Tournament has become somewhat one of the more prestigious events at BRAVE. The skillsets the tournament is showcasing is shining on as one of the more underappreciated weight-classes in mixed martial arts.  The latest addition of Ali Bagautinov will no doubt bring more eyes to the tournament.


Ali Bagautinov of course as we all know, is a UFC veteran who once competed in the stacked Bantamweight division. He shared the octagon with names such as Demetrious Johnson and Joseph Benavidez.

Bagautinov is a two-time combat sambo world champion. Bagautinov is eager for the chance of finally holding a world title, one thing that has evaded him so far in his career. Winning the gold would most definitely add to his legacy.

Other names confirmed for the tournament are Jose “Shorty” Torres, Zach Makovsky, Dustin Ortiz, and Velimurad Alkhasov in the Flyweight World Title Tournament, this potentially putting Ali Bagautinov just three wins away from the gold.

After his recent debut win over Oleg Lichkovakha, Ali Bagautinov set his eyes on stepping in there against Dustin Ortiz, also confirmed as part of the tournament. With both these men accomplished who are happy to let their hands go and their top-level grappling, who wouldn’t pay to watch the two men go at it. Will Bagautinov finally win gold.
