The former Bellator MMA and ONE FC welterweight champion has accepted a fight with Youtube sensation Jake Paul. Jake Paul has recently ventured into the world of boxing and has been targeting MMA fighter after MMA fighter, including Conor McGregor, Dillon Danis and Michael Bisping. It may not be McGregor but he still has a former champion in-front of him.

The eight-round bout will take place on April 17th at a Triller Fight Club event.  A location for the event is still to be determined. Both Jake Paul and Ben Askren recently announced the bout on their social media"s as seen below.

Jake Paul last competed on November 28th at the Tyson vs. Jones Jr. event, when knocking out NBA veteran Nate Robinson. Paul made his professional boxing debut in January 2020 with a first-round TKO of fellow Youtuber AnEsonGib.

Ben Askren has not competed since Oct 26th, suffering a submission loss to Demian Maia. Ben Askren may have not had the best ride in the UFC, but the man is well accomplished in his mixed martial arts career.
