Former BRAVE CF Bantamweight Champion Stephen Loman signs with ONE Championship. Head Coach Mark Sangiao has confirmed the report. He now joins Eduard Folayang, Kevin Belingon, Joshua Pacio, Honorio Banario, and his other Team Lakay teammates at the biggest mixed martial arts promotion in the world.
Stephen Loman debuted at BRAVE CF in September 2016, having a 6-2 record back then. At just his second fight, he won the Inaugural Brave Combat Federation Bantamweight Championship. Stephen had a successful run and later on defended the belt thrice, making him the longest-reigning champion in BRAVE history (1,147 days).

“My plan is to train hard, to prove myself that I am the best. I want to fight the best fighter and I want to stay on the top. If I get a chance to fight for the belt, I will do my best to capture it”. Stephen Loman said in an interview.
Earlier this year, Stephen vacated the belt and sought to test free agency. His signing with ONE Championship definitely is not a shocker considering that almost all of his teammates are under the ONE Championship stable. It has not yet been announced whether what weight class Stephen is set to compete in.
“All I can say about Stephen’s signing with ONE Championship is that I’m happy because it was his personal decision to go to the promotion. I’m happy because he will be joining his teammates. Especially with his performance in BRAVE, we will look forward as to how he will excel in the promotion”. Coach Mark Sangiao commented.
One thing is for sure, Team Lakay has another elite contender that will crack the very stacked ONE Championship rankings! If everything goes well for the Filipino, him fighting this year is a very big possibility!
