All-Star Zach LaVine! While the Chicago Bulls have been somewhat disappointing this season Zach LaVine has been nothing but spectacular. In the 26 games he has played in, LaVine is averaging an insane 28.2 PPG, 5.5 RPG, and 5.2 APG. LaVine’s shooting splits have also been extremely impressive early on this season. LaVine is shooting 51% from the field, 43% from three-point range and 85% from the charity stripe.

LaVine is among the league’s best in scoring this year. He ranks the league’s best in multiple scoring categories this year, ranks sixth in three-pointers made per game with 3.6 and ranks sixth in PPG in the entire league.

To put it into perspective, he is averaging more points than Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kawhi Leonard, LeBron James and Nikola Jokic. In terms of where LaVine ranks in just shooting guards, Zach is second in scoring behind Bradley Beal and ranks first in field goal percentage for the shooting guard position.

LaVine is also in some pretty good company this season. Zach is one of two players this season to average 25/5/5 on 50/40% shooting. The other player to average these numbers is the best scorer of all time in Kevin Durant. LaVine is also top 3 this season in clutch scoring and is ahead of guys like Chris Paul, Jayson Tatum, Devin Booker and Kyrie Irving.

The bottom line is simple, put this man in the all star game. He easily has been an elite player for the Bulls this season and he is on track to be the first all star representing the Chicago Bulls since Jimmy Butler in the 2016-17 season.

It would be a real shame if LaVine wasn’t on the final roster. LaVine deserves the spot after the start to the season he has had.
