UFC Vegas 20 Adds Angela Hill vs Ashley Yoder

Angela Hill (12-9, 11-9 UFC) has her first fight in 2021 after she embarked on an impressive but difficult year in 2020. Hill fought four times last year, making the perfect start by knocking out Hannah Cifers. The following month, she stepped into the octagon again, beating Loma Lookboonmee via unanimous decision.

She fought two more times in 2020, twice losing by a split decision, once to Claudia Gadelha and again to Michelle Waterson. Hill did try to redeem herself and fight for a fifth time in the year. She was scheduled to fight Tecia Torres in December, but unfortunately due to Hill testing positive for COVID-19, the fight was cancelled.

Ashley Yoder (8-6, 3-6 UFC) will look to push on from her last victory against Miranda Granger back at UFC Vegas 14, in which she won by unanimous decision.

Yoder currently has a negative record in the UFC after she got off to a woeful start losing her first three fights in the organization. This is her third bout on her current four-fight contract. A win against Hill will release a significant amount of pressure off her shoulders going into the last fight of the contract.

The fight was announced on Saturday during the UFC Vegas 19: Blaydes vs Lewis event, one week prior to the card they will be competing on.
