Natan Levy is set to make his UFC debut against Austin Hubbard on April 17th. The bout, which is rumored to take place at lightweight, was first reported by Nolan King and Farah Hannoun over at MMA Junkie.
Natan Levy To Face Austin Hubbard
Natan Levy (6-0, 0-0 UFC) earned his UFC contract on Dana White’s Contender Series back in November with a third-round submission victory over Shaheen Santana.
Austin “Thud” Hubbard (12-5, 2-3 UFC) will be looking to get back to his winning ways against the debutant as he suffered a submission loss last time out to Joe Soleicki.
Highly regarded as a submission specialist, Levy often uses the slogan “Jew-Jitsu” to describe his excellent skills on the mat. His record backs up the hype, having recorded three of his six wins via submission.
Levy fights out of Syndicate MMA and signed a four-fight contract with the UFC following his successful conquering of Santana on five days’ notice.
The submission victory for Levy was even more impressive considering the credentials of Santana, who is also deemed a submission specialist having won five of his six victories via submission and entered the fight undefeated.
