As first reported by MMA Junkie, Randy Brown (12-4, 6-4 UFC) has pulled out of his upcoming scheduled bout against Alex Oliveira (22-9-1, 11-7 UFC). The reason for Brown withdrawing is not known at this time, though it will undoubtedly be revealed in the coming days.
Alex Oliveira Left Searching for New Opponent After Randy Brown Withdraws

In the meantime, the UFC is left scrambling to find a suitable replacement opponent for Oliveira on just six days’ notice. The fight against Brown was scheduled to be at welterweight, though on such short notice, the replacement fight might be rebooked at catchweight.
Oliveira last appeared in the octagon against Shavkat Rakhmonov in October 2020, losing by a guillotine choke with 20 seconds left to go in the first round. Oliveira has been itching to go back out there and get back into the win column. Will the UFC be able to find a replacement in time?
The UFC Vegas 20 card is currently slated to have 13 fights, so if a replacement for Randy Brown is not found, the card will be forced to go forward with 12 fights.
