Muhammad Mokaev’s next fight announced against none other than Abdul Hussein.
Both men are former IMMAF world champions, who hold two of the best amateur records in MMA, they will finally meet inside the BRAVE Combat Federation Arena, at BRAVE CF 49, in this long-awaited highly anticipated flyweight bout.
But incredible amateur records are not all these men share common ground, as both Hussein and Mokaev were forced to leave their homeland and grow up as refugees.
Mokaev was born in the Caucasus, then emigrated to the United Kingdom, and has gone on to be a fan favourite amongst the UK publications, drawing the attention of massive mainstream media outlets, such as BBC and CNN.
Abdul Hussein, on the other hand, was born in Iraq but left the country with his family and emigrated to Finland. Along with his brother, ABBA, he became one of the most prominent names in Finnish MMA, winning the amateur world title, before joining BRAVE.
