As the trade deadline quickly approaches its March 25 date, many players have entered the trade market. One of the biggest Heat trade rumors circling the organization is a move involving veteran big man, P.J. Tucker.
As the Heat are finally rolling, winning 6 of their last 7 games, the looming uncertainty of their big man situation shadows over them. Could Tucker be the missing link to Miami’s championship dreams?

The asking price for P.J. Tucker will be high. As the Houston Rockets are entering rebuild mode, they will look to gain youth.
Duncan Robinson is exactly what the Rockets are looking for; a player that can spread the floor for John Wall and hit outside shots. He will be the prominent asking piece for Houston as they’re looking to strengthen their young core.
This opens up the floor for Tyler Herro to slide into his starting shooting guard role. The starting lineup would look something like this:
PG: Kendrick Nunn
SG: Tyler Herro
SF: Jimmy Butler
PF: P.J. Tucker
C: Bam Adebayo

Unfortunately, the Heat don’t have much to offer a rebuilding Rockets squad. The asking price for Tucker will be young players and draft picks. Duncan Robinson, Tyler Herro, or Precious Achiuwa will almost have to be guaranteed in any deal.
