2021 Blue Jays rankings for outfield looks interesting

2021 Blue Jays Rankings by position continues, we will rank the top two outfielders in all three positions. New faces have caused some changes to the roster from a season ago. The Blue Jays now have depth in the outfield and with a long season ahead, the talent they have added could play a big role down the stretch.

2021 Blue Jays Rankings: Left Field

#1. Teoscar Hernandez – The 2020 Silver Slugger will return and look to help propel the Blue Jays back into the playoffs in 2021. A versatile outfielder that can play all three positions in the outfield, likely to spend time at all three positions throughout the season. Teoscar Hernandez was a crucial piece to the Blue Jays success in 2020, he will be looked upon to provide that spark again, and to help control the outfield in 2021.

#2. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. – The versatile Lourdes Gurriel Jr. has spent time on the infield but will be utilized in the outfield for Toronto in 2021. A strong arm and solid tracking skills make him a prime candidate for the left-field position. Gurriel Jr. is a player that manager Charlie Montoyo wants in the lineup every day and slotting him in left field will ensure this happens.

2021 Blue Jays Rankings: Center Field

#1. George Springer – The Blue Jays signed the highly sought-after outfielder during the offseason to the richest contract in the organization’s history. George Springer will help the Blue Jays offensively while providing some stability and reliability in the outfield as well. The two-time silver slugger winner and three-time all-star will be a crucial asset for the Blue Jays for the foreseeable future. George Springer, a world series MVP in 2017 will play a major role in Toronto’s success for 2021 and beyond.

#2. Randal Grichuk – The seven-year outfielder returns for his fourth season with the Toronto Blue Jays. Randal Grichuk, now 29-years old had his best batting average last season, finishing with a .273 batting average in 55 games. Randal has been an everyday outfielder for Toronto and will once again patrol the corner for the Blue Jays in 2021.

2021 Blue Jays Rankings: Right Field

#1. Randal Grichuk – The three-year Blue Jays outfielder is once again slotted as the number one right fielder heading into 2021. Randal Grichuk has the ability to play anywhere in the outfield and will also be called upon at the plate to help provide offense for Toronto in 2021.

#2. Jonathan Davis – The Blue Jays 15th round pick from the 2013 June amateur draft has quietly provided depth to the outfield for Toronto. Once again Jonathan Davis will be the outfielder that will replace whichever player in need of a day of rest or cover for any injured players during the season. The now 29-year old made his MLB and Blue Jays debut in 2018, he’s played 70 games for Toronto in his three seasons as a big-league ballplayer.

2021 Blue Jays: The Time To Win is Now

The Toronto Blue Jays have continuiosily added players to their MLB roster and now they have created a very powerful, skilled and hopefully, winning ball team for years to come. The time to win is here, with a healthy stock of prospects waiting for their chance to showcase their talent at the highest level. The Toronto Blue Jays fans are hoping the team can return to the world series just as they did in 1992, and 1993.
