Ronaldo Jacare Souza vs Andre Muniz Middleweight Fight Added To UFC 262

Jacare Souza vs Andre Muniz Set for UFC 262: Oliveira vs Chandler

Ronaldo Jacare Souza (26-9-0 1 NC, 9-6-0 UFC) has been competing professionally since 2003. Over that span, he’s fought the best middleweights on the planet. For example, he’s fought Gegard Mousasi x2, Luke Rockhold, Derek Brunson x2, Yoel Romero, Robert Whittaker, and Kelvin Gastelum). Needless to say, the 41-year-old Brazilian has been around the block. Training out of Fusion Xcel Performance, Souza is still a very crafty and durable veteran.

Andre Muniz (20-4-0, 2-0-0 UFC) had to win two Contender Series bouts in order to earn his UFC contract. “Sergipano” won his debut in November of 2019 against Antonio Arroyo via unanimous decision. The 31-year-old Brazilian prospect returned last September, delivering a Performance of the Night effort versus Bartosz Fabinski. Since 2014, Muniz has a record of 14-1-0.

Jacare Souza vs Andre Muniz is a notable addition to the UFC 262 prelims on May 15th. The UFC 262 card currently looks like this:
