July 10th UFC 264 Card Adds Jessica Eye and Jennifer Maia Fight

Jessica Eye (15-9 1 NC, 5-8 1 NC UFC) is from Rootstown, Ohio, and fights out of Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas, Nevada. Eye is coming off of two unanimous decision losses against Joanne Calderwood and Cynthia Calvillo. The last win for Eye came against Viviane Araujo at UFC 245. In her career, Eye has defeated the likes of Katlyn Chookagian, Jessica-Rose Clark, Kalindra Faria, and Leslie Smith. However, Eye has also experienced losses against the likes of Miesha Tate and Julianna Pena. Therefore, Eye has been against some of the best female MMA fighters the world has to offer.

Jennifer Maia (18-7-1, 3-3 UFC) is from Curitiba, Parana, Brazil, and fights out of Chute Boxe Monstro. Maia is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Shevchenko at UFC 255. The last win for Maia came against Calderwood. Maia has also experienced wins against Roxanne Modafferi and Alexis Davis in a two-fight winning streak that was ended with a loss to Chookagian at UFC 244. Therefore, Maia will be aiming to get an important victory over Eye to ensure that she can get back to fighting for the women’s flyweight title.

Both Jessica Eye and Jennifer Maia will be looking to get a win to ensure that they continue to climb the flyweight division rankings and earn a title shot in the future.
