Brave CF’s historic 50th card is quickly approaching, and tensions were at an all-time high at today’s weigh-ins. After both men weighed in at 174 pounds, below the 175-pound weight limit, Brave CF’s super welterweight champion Jarrah Al-Silawi and his challenger Ismail Naurdiev stood across from each other for the ceremonial face-off. Tensions quickly boiled over as trash talk flew back and forth, it culminated in the champion using his hand to push Naurdiev’s face away quite aggressively before the shoving could turn into a full-on brawl, Brave CF staff quickly jumped in to separate the two.
In the co-main event, middleweight champion Mohammad Fakhreddine is moving up in an attempt to become the first Arab two-weight world champion. He hit the scale at 203 pounds while his opponent Mohammad Said Maalem weighed in at 201 pounds. The winner of this bout will walk away with the vacant light heavyweight title.
