The Bellator 255 prelims did not disappoint, giving us incredible finishes and showcasing some of the young talents that Bellator has to offer. Three of the preliminary fighters were able to grab our attention with their spectacular performances and made us excited to see where their careers will go.

Roman Faraldo

Roman Faraldo put on an impressive performance against Trevor Gudde in the second fight of the Bellator 255 prelims. Faraldo was able to make up for Gudde’s six-inch height advantage by closing the distance and landing power shots from the inside. This win extends Faraldo’s winning streak to five and adds to his undefeated record of 5-0. Faraldo is now 2-0 inside the Bellator cage. Still very early into his pro career, the 27-year-old is an exciting prospect to watch out for.

Mandel Nallo

Mandel Nallo put together a striking masterpiece on Saturday night against Ricardo Seixas on the Bellator 255 prelims. Nallo’s striking was levels above his opponent, and it showed. Nallo used his reach very well in the fight, landing jabs and low kicks from the outside. Nallo finished this incredible performance off with a highlight reel superman punch knockout. This was a much-needed win for Nallo, who was coming off a loss in 2019 and a no contest in 2020. Nallo seems to be prone to having exciting fights so be on the lookout for when he fights next.

Magomed Magomedov

Magomed Magomedov continued his scaling of the Bellator bantamweight division with a submission victory over Cee Jay Hamilton in the last fight of the Bellator 255 prelims. Magomedov was able to utilize his high-level wrestling to take Hamilton down and eventually get the submission in the early stages of the 2nd round. Magomedov has lived up to the high expectations since joining Bellator and has now put himself in a prime position in this division. Magomedov could very well be next in line to challenge for the bantamweight title against the winner of the Sergio Pettis and Juan Archuleta bout, which is taking place in the main event of Bellator 258 on May 7th.
