Greg Hardy vs Tai Tuivasa Heavyweight Fight Set for UFC 264

News of Greg Hardy vs Tai Tuivasa was first reported by Hardy via Instagram, but it was then confirmed by MMA Junkie. It’s since been reported by other media outlets.

“The Prince of War” called out “Bam Bam” via Instagram on March 26^th, and his wish has now been granted by the UFC.

Heavy-Hitters Collide at UFC 264

Greg Hardy (7-3 1NC, 4-3 1NC UFC) has had an eventful two years since joining the UFC, to say the least. From the illegal knee disqualification to the inhaler incident, Hardy has had rough moments. Yet, he’s shown a lot of talent and potential in the midst of all the drama. Since the Contender Series, he’s displayed otherworldly athleticism and explosiveness. Momentum halted for “The Prince of War” when Marcin Tybura finished him in December. Still only 32 and very young as a mixed martial artist, it’s clear that Hardy has a high ceiling if he puts it all together.

Tai Tuivasa (12-3, 5-3 UFC) burst out of the gates like a mad man when he first entered the UFC in 2017. Three straight wins, which included two opening round finishes, set the Australian heavyweight up with a fight against Junior dos Santos. The bout didn’t go his way and he’d go on to lose two more after that. However, “Bam Bam” has bounced back strong with back-to-back first round knockouts. At just 28 years of age, many see Tuivasa ascending up the ranks at some point.
