Randy Costa vs Adrian Yanez Set For UFC Event on July 24th

Randy Costa (6-1, 2-1 UFC) is on a two-fight winning streak with back-to-back knockout wins over Boston Salmon and Journey Newson. Having originally lost his UFC debut to Brandon Davis via submission, he will now be looking to make his name known in the division with a statement victory over another exciting prospect.

Adrian Yanez (13-3, 2-0 UFC) is a Dana White Contender Series alumni having earned his contract with a win over Brad Huyang. He captured the attention of UFC fans with his recent victory over Gustavo Lopez where his speed and accuracy proved too much for the durable bantamweight as Yanez put him away in the 3rd round. Yanez’s debut ended in spectacular fashion after he knocked out Ray Rodriguez with a head kick in the 1st round, earning him a performance bonus to leave with.

The MMA community played a pivotal role in ensuring the UFC made Randy Costa vs Adrian Yanez official with both fighters exchanging in some interesting discussions with the fans on Twitter regarding what is better, Reese’s Peanut Butter or Dr Pepper. This simple, funny and engaging topic kept the fans talking and gave the UFC no option but to make the fight happen.

Meaning on July 24th, not only will we find out who is the better fighter in Randy Costa vs Adrian Yanez, but also what is better, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups or Dr Pepper. • Mickey Gall (6-3) vs Jordan Williams (9-4) @ 180 lbs.
