BRAVE CF has recently announced that Greek MMA fighter Giannis Bachar (6-2) has been forced to withdraw from his upcoming Super Welterweight bout for undisclosed reasons. Bachar was set to face off against Belarusian star Denis Maher (7-0) in the co-main event slot of BRAVE CF 51: The Future Is Here, on Friday, June 4th.
BRAVE CF 51 Co-Main Preview
Stepping in on short notice to replace Bachar, and save the fight is Stockholm, Sweden’s Fernando Gonzalez (9-2). Gonzalez has earned a reputation as a submission specialist over his last decade or so of fighting on the European regional scene, where 5 of his 9 victories have come by way of submission. Welcoming Fernando Gonzalez to the BRAVE CF cage is Denis Maher (7-0), another fighter making his BRAVE CF debut.

Denis Maher (7-0) is an undefeated prospect fighting out of Minsk, Belarus, and has quickly jumped out to an impressive 7 and 0 record. He has a well-rounded game as evidenced by 4 wins via submission and 2 by way of knockout. Maher is coming off of an impressive 2020 campaign, that saw him start the year with a first-round submission victory over Validzhon Sardorov, he then followed that up one month later with a second-round KO/TKO victory over Evgeniy Vorona.
Can Denis Maher continue his winning ways, or will Fernando Gonzalez play spoiler and come away with his hand raised? Tune in on June 4th to BRAVE CF 51 The Future Is Here to find out.
