After what has been a somewhat disappointing spell in Italy, it seems Aaron Ramsey has had enough. Last season was disappointing for the Welshman, barely getting over 1000 minutes for La Vecchia Signora. Despite picking up a league title last season, this year has come with more playing time, but considerably worse results for the ex-Arsenal star.

Juventus this season have been a far cry from the team we are used to seeing. Stumbling through the season, Andrea Pirlo’s men have yet to find their stride under the Italian Legend. They have already missed out on the league title, and staggeringly they also look likely to miss out on Champions League football for the upcoming season. This is obviously new territory for the Juventus of late, however, it seems the ‘Old Lady‘ will go on without Aaron Ramsey.

“It’s been a pretty frustrating couple of years for me, picking up little injuries and not being able to get back to full fitness, It’s been a strange time in general, which hasn’t helped – arriving at Juventus with an injury, trying to get my fitness back, then you’re hit by a pandemic and we had to start again.”

Aaron Ramsey said during an Interview with Four Four Two.

Juventus Spell Over For Aaron Ramsey?

Everyone’s favourite journalist Fabrizio Romano told talksport of Ramsey’s wishes to return to England:

“He’s hoping to come back to the Premier League. He’s not happy in Juventus, he’s not playing. So obviously he wants to come back to the Premier League.” Romano told talksport.

This is interesting, with Everton being touted as a possible destination, and the blatantly obvious in his former employers, Arsenal. I’m sure the romantics will want an Arsenal reunion, however a club like Everton would be perfect. He would slot into their midfield seamlessly, add some experience, and possibly even bring in some extra G/A from midfield for the Toffees. Again, all this is speculation, although, with the obvious quality there to be unearthed, it’s always compelling to see where a player of his quality will end up.

Where do you think he will end up?
