LA Rams 2021 Schedule: First Half
Week One | 9/12/21 | Chicago Bears at Los Angeles Rams
Chicago comes to Los Angeles at the most optimal time possible for Rams fans. The team will either be playing a veteran stop-gap under center (Andy Dalton or Nick Foles) or will be breaking in a rookie (Justin Fields). Regardless, the Rams should be in a good position to take advantage of the weak QB play and get their first win with fans at SoFi Stadium.
Prediction: Rams win 24-13
Week Two | 9/19/21 | Los Angeles Rams at Indianapolis Colts
Week two has a chance to be a close one but I think in the end, the Rams will be able to pull it out due to the Colts" mediocre secondary. The team did not draft a secondary player until the fifth round in last month"s draft and the Colts are really depending on sophomores Rock Ya-Sin and Julian Blackmon having big second years after both struggled as rookies. Look for the Rams to attack these matchups and come out with the much-needed early-season road victory.
Prediction: Rams win 21-17
Week Three | 9/26/21 | Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Los Angeles Rams
The Rams and Bucs have met for three straight years now, with the first two being extremely exciting. This one should be no different as the Bucs" still have an extremely potent offense and one of the most underrated defenses in the league. Tampa could have easily beaten the Rams in 2020 and I think they will remember that the game was so close and want to exact some revenge.
Prediction: Rams lose 27-24
Week Four | 10/3/21 | Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams
The Kliff Kingsbury vs Sean Mcvay “rivalry" is still in quotes because Kingsbury"s Cardinals have yet to beat the Rams since he took over. In fact, the Rams have actually beaten Arizona eight straight times. Things will not likely change during this game, as the Cardinals will be playing with the fire that is the Rams offense. Yes, Arizona improved at wide receiver; but will it be enough to make up for the deficiencies in the secondary?
Prediction: Rams win 31-17

Week Five | 10/7/21 | Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks
Going up to Seattle is always a tough proposition, but if you"re going to do it, the earlier the better. The Rams will not only have this game be early in the season but also early in the week, as it is the Thursday night game. These two teams always play each other tough but Seattle seems destined to take a step back in 2021 and this is just one of the byproducts of that.
Prediction: Rams win 30-21
Week Six | 10/17/21 | Los Angeles Rams at New York Giants
The Rams get ten days to prepare for their first of two true east coast trips in 2021, then face a New York Giants team that seems greatly improved. The team has made every effort to surround Daniel Jones with a good defense and a lot of weapons. It will be on him this season to either sink or swim, unfortunately for him, it doesn"t seem that the team upgraded the offensive line enough to compete with the Rams" stacked defensive line.
Prediction: Rams win 28-10
Week Seven | 10/24/21 | Detroit Lions at Los Angeles Rams
Jared Goff‘s return to LA is sure to be must-see tv, but once the drama wears off of seeing the QB who brought you to a Super Bowl playing for another team, the Rams should come out and hammer the Lions. Matthew Stafford will also be playing against the franchise that drafted him number one overall and the Lions new GM Brad Holmes just came from the Rams; which makes this a reunion game all-around.
Prediction: Rams win 38-10
Week Eight | 10/31/21 | Los Angeles Rams at Houston Texans
Following up the Detroit game that figures to be one of the easier games on the schedule comes yet another “easy" game. The Texans are expected to be competing much more for the number one overall choice in the 2022 NFL draft than they seem destined to be fighting for a playoff spot. The Rams need to take advantage of these games and win them early, something they struggled with in 2020.
Prediction: Rams win 31-9
Week Nine | 11/15/21 | Tennessee Titans at Los Angeles Rams
Right before the middle of the season the Rams host the Titans in what is sure to be a very good football game. The schedule makers sure feel that is true, as they have this one scheduled for Sunday Night Football. The Rams have struggled to defend the run at times under McVay, something that will not work when playing the Titans and their bruising running back Derrick Henry.
Prediction: Rams win 31-24

LA Rams 2021 Schedule: Second Half
Week Ten | 11/22/21 | Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers
Week ten is a very good time for the Rams to get the ‘niners, because it will likely be past the point that San Francisco has moved to their rookie QB, and on from Jimmy Garoppolo. “Jimmy G" has been a thorn in the Rams" side these last couple years and a young inexperienced QB under center would be much better for the Rams.
Prediction: Rams win 17-7
Week 11 | Bye week
Week 12 | 11/28/21 | Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay Packers
Even with the extra time to prepare, due to the bye week, i"m predicting the Rams to lose this one in Green Bay. The team struggled coming out of the bye in 2020, so they have already shown that extra time off is not necessarily a good thing. Compound that with the fact that this game is so late in the season and you have a recipe for disaster. To make matter short, the Rams figure to be COLD, both literally AND figuratively for this one.
Prediction: Rams lose 31-17

Week 13 | 12/5/21 | Jacksonville Jaguars at Los Angeles Rams
This should be a very nice bounce-back game for the Rams. Jalen Ramsey will be out for the ultimate revenge, and the team will not be wanting to lose two straight games. Jacksonville, by my estimate, will be one of 2021"s dumpster fires. This game shouldn"t be close, but then again, the Rams lost to the Jets last year.
Prediction: Rams win 31-3
Week 14 | 12/12/21 | Los Angeles Rams at Arizona Cardinals
As we talked about before, Kingsbury has never beaten the Rams, but there is always a first time for everything. Eventually the Cardinals are going to break through and beat the Rams and i"m predicting that is exactly what will happen here. After not losing on the road in the first half of the season, the Rams could be looking at two straight road losses.
Prediction: Rams lose 30-27
Week 15 | 12/19/21 | Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams
Seattle will be coming to Los Angeles this late in the season and I do not think it"s going to be pretty for them. They have made some changes in the off-season to try and make Russell Wilson happy but I think this game will be the straw the breaks the camel"s back. Wilson won"t forget losing to the Rams 4x in the past two years and next winter he will actually demand a trade instead of beating around the bush.
Prediction: Rams win 30-21
Week 16 | 12/26/21 | Los Angeles Rams at Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings‘ star receiver Justin Jefferson doesn"t even believe in his own quarterback. This should tell you all you need to know about how Minnesota"s season will go, meaning at the end of it when this game comes around, things may not be pretty for Minnesota. The Rams should be big favorites here, even on the road. If i"m wrong, however, and they a good team, it makes this last stretch of the season especially daunting.
Prediction: Rams win 26-13
Week 17 | 1/2/22 | Los Angeles Rams at Baltimore Ravens
The unfortunate result of the league going to a 17th game is that this year it lines the Rams up against the Ravens. We all remember the last time these two teams faced off, with Baltimore absolutely demolishing the Rams. With an east coast game this late in the season against such a formidable foe, this seems like one of the most likely losses on the LA Rams 2021 schedule.
Prediction: Rams lose 34-17

Week 18 | 1/9/22 | San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams
Once week 18 rolls around, many expect this to be one of the closest divisions in the league. I am not currently prescribing to that theory. My guess is the Rams will have a two game lead on San Fransisco and Seattle and a one game lead on Arizona coming into the season"s final week. This will mean the 49ers are out of it and the Rams will still need try and win the game to clinch the division. Yes, please.
Prediction: Rams win 30-17
That puts the Rams at a projected win total of 13. Many will say it is too many wins, but you all saw the schedule, it breaks down fairly nicely for LA. The bye week near the middle of the season is optimal and the Rams only play two games on the east coast and two games in central time. That adds up to just four 10 am pst start times for Los Angeles. Those games are notoriously tough for west coast teams who are dealing with the time change and/or Jet lag.
