Kawhi Leonard vs Luka Doncic has been an exciting match-up throughout this series. Leonard made a statement in Game 6 taking over the whole game and dominated Doncic and the Mavs.

The series is now tied up at three games each, with Game 7 to be played at the Staples Center. The Clippers and the Mavs have put on the most exciting series of the first round.

The Clippers won Game 6 at Dallas, 104-97 thanks to Kawhi Leonard. Of course, Reggie Jackson and Paul George had good games which were big in the Clippers winning.

Jackson had a great first quarter, and George struggled offensively at the start but showed up to make important buckets. Like a three to take the lead early in the fourth quarter.

He also played great defense, and 46 minutes. He was important to this Clippers victory, even if the box score may not show it.

Jackson finished with 25 points and 8 rebounds whilst shooting 8-15 from the field. He scored 14 of those points in the first quarter.

George had 20 points, 6 assists, and 13 rebounds whilst shooting 6-15 from the field.

Leonard put on arguably the best individual performance in the playoffs so far and forced a Game 7 on Sunday in LA.

The Clippers’ superstar had 45 points whilst shooting 18-25 from the field. He also played 42 minutes in this tense win or go home game.

Luka Doncic had 29 points, 11 assists and 8 rebounds in what may appear to have been a good game for the young star from looking at those stats.

However, Leonard reminded the world that he is one of the best defenders in the league by containing one of the best scorers in the league. In addition to that, he dominated the game on the other end too.

Leonard had a positive plus-minus of eight whereas Doncic had a negative plus-minus of eight. A big difference in this game is the Clippers didn’t allow Doncic to get the switches he wants as easily.

Leonard was fighting over the screens and not allowing him to get his shot off easily. Doncic only scored 15 points in the first half, and he took 11 shots.

He scored 12 points in the fourth quarter when the Clippers had control of the game and we were willing to give up two-pointers.

Leonard shot 100% from the field in the fourth quarter. He took five shots, two coming from beyond the arc.

He made it a four point game with five minutes remaining, a crucial bucket as it strengthened the Clippers lead. They would go on to maintain this lead for the rest of the game.

The Mavericks just couldn’t stop the two-time Finals MVP last night.

“He destroyed us. That’s what it is.” Doncic said about Leonard after the game. “He had a hell of a game and that’s what he does.”
