Zach LaVine Moving Houses
It was reported a few weeks ago that Chicago Bulls star shooting guard Zach LaVine sold his $3 million mansion in Chicago. As always, this got the NBA world speculating as to why LaVine would do so, and it asks the question is LaVine going to be a Chicago Bull for the foreseeable future? The answer is quite simple in my opinion, Zach LaVine will remain a Chicago Bull for the majority of his career barring any last-minute trades. LaVine had been wanting to sell his mansion ever since he purchased it in 2018. LaVine will likely purchase a new home in the Chicago area in the next couple of months.
What Zach LaVine means to the Bulls
Since being acquired by the Bulls in 2017, LaVine has been nothing but spectacular for the Bulls, easily is the team’s first option in terms of scoring, and is by far the most valuable player on the Bulls roster. LaVine since being a member of the Bulls has raised his scoring averaged every year, going all the way from averaging 16.7 PPG in 2017 to 27.4 PPG which was also good for 7th in the league.
Time to win
The next step for LaVine and the Chicago Bulls is to flat-out start winning. LaVine in his short seven-year carer has yet to even reach the postseason. After falling a few games short of the play in the tournament, LaVine made a vow to Bulls fans that they would make the playoffs next season. With plenty of young talent such as Coby White and Patrick Williams and veteran leadership such as Nikola Vucevic, who they acquired from Orlando at the trade deadline, and LaVine, there should be no reason that this Chicago Bulls team isn’t in the playoff hunt next season.
It would be a treat for Bulls fans to see their team in the playoffs. They have not reached the postseason since the 2016-17 season. The Chicago Bulls currently have the 3rd longest active playoff drought in the league, not ideal for one of the most accomplished franchises in NBA history.
