Kenya’s rising mixed martial arts promotion is back and looks to host some major underground talents. LFNE looks to bring fans a broad array of different backgrounds from fighters across the card, two of which compete in the welterweight division. With the spotlight on them, these fighters will be looking to make a big statement. The winner could be looking at some huge publicity moving forward. Let’s take a look at the preview for this upcoming clash.

Fighter Comparison

Julius “Billy” Wafula is a highly experienced fighter looking to make a statement. His record of 2-3 shows how tough he and his opponents are. Wafula has been training hard for his chance to put on a showcase performance at LFNE Championship 4. He has strong offensive grappling and can slug it out on the feet. With a taller opponent stepping in the cage against him, “Billy” will be looking to stick to a grapple heavy style and use a strong clinch against the cage where he can work the body and get the fight down to the ground.

Denish “De Wolf” Ooko is a tall Thai-style fighter and has a chance to become a fan favorite on July 10th at LFNE Championship 4. Ooko has a body similar to UFC middleweight champion Adesanya, a tall build that allows maximum flexibility and feints. Ooko should look to counter Wafula’s grappling heavy style with knees and body kicks; dismantling the body not only forces a withdrawal of gameplan but can also put anyone away with one perfectly placed strike.

Julius Wafula vs Denish Ooko Breakdown

Using the knowledge we have just gained, let’s break down one of LFNE Championship 4’s most anticipated bouts. Wafula uses feints that make his opponents wary of takedowns, but he finds himself in many dangerous situations. Going up against a Thai boxer as good as Ooko, timing is everything.

Denish Ooko looks to put mixed martial arts fans on notice on July 10th. He will look to dismantle his opponent with body kicks and even dismantle Wafula with heavy leg kicks. “De Wolf” is looking for his first win, but being 0-1 doesn’t make him any less dangerous. With both competitors looking to make an even win-loss record at LFNE 4, you can expect to see pure heart and determination.
