Kenyan mixed martial arts promotion, LFNE Championship, looks to bring fans a monumental card with many underground talents who may be finally getting their big break on July 10th. Standouts Edwin Mwiti and Joseph Ndegwa will square off in a pivotal bantamweight matchup.

Let’s take a look at these two fighters and break down what is sure to be an amazing contest. LFNE Championship 4 airs Saturday, July 10th on KUTV Kenya.

A Look at the Fighters

Edwin Mwiti is an undefeated fighter with a record of 1-0, he has an amazing ground game with scary knockout power. Both Mwiti and his opponent use jabs to create openings for fight-ending shots. Coming into this bout “Destroyer” should use feints to create openings and then turn the pressure up and try to mix in some grappling. Mwiti has high-level takedowns that will almost certainly give him an advantage coming into this fight.

Joseph Ndegwa is a promising prospect in underground African MMA and heading into this bout he should look for a big finish that could definitely popularise him in this sport. As previously mentioned, Ndegwa’s jab should be the key for him to find openings. With an opponent who likes to grapple, “Blackbull” should look for an early finish after drawing Mwiti into dangerous exchanges.

Edwin Mwiti vs Joseph Ndegwa Breakdown

Using the knowledge we have just gained, let’s break down this exciting bout scheduled for LFNE Championship 4 on July 10th. Both men have beautiful jabs and coming into this bout, there are two keys that fit the same hole. High pressure will also prove to be a big factor depending on what point in the fight each competitor decides to use it.

If Mwiti secures a takedown it will be a short night for his opponent as “Destroyer” seems to get to dominant positions almost instantly and with such a high-level work rate, he can pull off a quick finish. Ndegwa should look for counter strikes and try to strike in an anti-wrestling style to avoid all takedowns, however, counter submissions are always there for “Blackbull”

Both fighters share skillsets but have advantages in certain areas. With this being a huge match for both competitors, they will be willing to put it all on the line to leave the cage with a victory.
