Nuno Espirito Santo has revealed that a decision has not yet been made on whether Harry Kane will be included in the squad to face Wolves this weekend.
The striker did not make the trip to Portugal for the Conference League game against Pacos de Ferreira last night and was also not included in the squad to face Man City.
However, the 28-year-old has trained all week with his teammates.
“It is a day-by-day situation,” said Nuno at his pre-match press conference ahead of his return to old club Wolves.
“He trained today, trained good. He’ll train tomorrow and we’ll make a decision.
“I’m so sorry to keep on saying the same things but this is how we work. It’s a day-by-day situation and decisions are made when we feel that we should make them.
“We’re going to take the decision who is going to travel tomorrow.
“The reality is to take care with wise decisions. All the players that are involved with the training sessions are options for us.”
Asked how much he was being kept up to date with Kane’s situation, Nuno responded: “Every day, every day.”
Ndombele wants to leave Tottenham
Tottenham’s club-record signing Tanguy Ndombele is also yet to feature this season and Sky Sports News can confirm he has asked if he can leave the club this month.
The midfielder, who did not play a minute of pre-season, is not part of Nuno’s squad for Sunday’s match against Wolves.
The Portuguese revealed: “I will be honest with you, Tanguy is not going to be involved in the squad on Sunday.”
