UFC Vegas 37 Staff Picks

After a week absent, the UFC is back in our lives this weekend. The card is headlined by UFC veteran Anthony “Lionheart” Smith taking on rising contender Ryan Spann in the light heavyweight division. The co-main event sees another light heavyweight bout take place, where controversial fighter Ion Cutelaba takes on Devin Clark.

After a tough run of losses, Smith finds himself on a two-fight winning streak, and a win against Spann could shoot him right up into title contention. If Spann were to claim a victory, it would be the biggest win of his career and would definitely put the rest of the division on notice.

There is plenty of talent to be seen outside of the main and co-main events. Ariane Lipski will welcome Mandy Bohm to the UFC in their bout in the women’s flyweight vision. Arman Tsarukyan looks to claim another victory when he comes in as a heavy favourite against Christos Giagos in the lightweight division. Tony Gravely will look to increase his win streak to three when he takes on Nate Maness. And finally, Joaquin Buckley will look to rebound from his loss against Alessio Di Chirico when he takes on Antonio Arroyo in the main card opener.

Here are the Overtime Heroics staff picks for what should be a great card:
