The Brooklyn Nets – It’s hard to take a realistic look at the landscape of the NBA without thinking that the Brooklyn Nets will be in the finals next season. As long as they keep their top players such as Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden, they have a good chance of winning. Last season, these players only got the chance to play eight games together; however, the team still managed to come second place in the championship. Many people believe that the only reason this team didn’t win this season’s championship is that some of their players missed games with injuries. 

Los Angeles Lakers – The Los Angeles Lakers are another team who could win next season’s NBA title. Like the Nets, it"s hard to ignore just how good this team is. They have an amazing team that includes players like LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, and Anthony Davis. The big question for this team is whether they’ll remain healthy enough throughout the season, as last season we saw several of their players drop out as they were unwell. If this team manage to avoid injuries and illnesses this year, they will be a very hard team to beat. 

Phoenix Suns – while the Phoenix Suns may not have world-class players like the other teams we’ve mentioned, they are certainly a team to keep your eyes on. This team managed to reach the final this year, and with some of their star players now back in the mix, they could be a contender for the title. 

Miami Heat – last season, Miami Heat did not play at their best. However, they recently acquired Kyle Lowry. This is a major boost to the roster, which now includes Tyler Herro, Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Duncan Robinson, and Kyle Lowry. This means that next season Miami Heat has a much better roster than last year. 

Notable Longshots for the 2022 NBA Title

Here are some of the NBA teams that are not favourites to win the title, but could have a chance:

The Los Angeles Clippers – The Los Angeles Clippers are an amazing basketball team; however, unfortunately one of their main players has suffered an injury. Kawhy Leonard may miss the majority of the 2022 season, which is unfortunate for the club. If, however, Leonard manages to get back to full fitness, and he re-joins the team, the Clippers have a good chance of winning the title. 

Atlanta Hawks – In last season’s playoffs, Trae Young took his game to another level. If he manages to carry this momentum into next season, then we could see the Atlanta Hawks doing pretty well. Not only that, but another amazing NBA player, John Collins, has also agreed to stay at the club this season. 

The Boston Celtics – next season, there will be several new faces playing for the Boston Celtics. The team are hoping that these new players will help them win the title. 

The Chicago Bulls – This season the Bulls have been extremely active. In fact, they have managed to secure DeMar DeRozan and Lonzo Ball. These signings have increased their chances of winning the competition. 

This season, the Milwaukee Bucks showed us just how good they are, managing to beat all of the other NBA teams to be crowned champions. However, it’s now time to start thinking about which teams are likely to do well next season.  Could the Brooklyn Nets beat the Bucks to the top spot, or will the Lakers be victorious?
