Lito Adiwang To Welcome Jarred Brooks In ONE Championship

The “Thunder Kid” will be coming into this match with a two-fight win streak, defeating Namiki Kawahara and Hexigetu respectively. Before those wins, he absorbed a close and controversial loss to Koha Minowa which stripped away his number 5 rank in the Strawweights.

Before that defeat to Minowa, Lito was dismantling every opponent that the promotion is pitting him against, from Jose Manuela Huerta, Alberto Correia, Anthony Do, Senzo Ikeda up to Pongsiri Mitsatit.

Meanwhile, this is going to be Jared’s maiden bout under ONE Championship after previously competing in the UFC and Rizin. Brooks is also entering this match on a boosted morale, winning his last three encounters. He currently holds 16 wins and 2 losses.

The “Monkey God” only tasted defeat against former UFC Flyweight champion, Deiveson Figueiredo (via split decision) and Jose Torres (via KO through slam) which makes his resume equally impressive. His wins also showcase his well-roundedness as a fighter, winning half of them via stoppages, 6 by submission, and 2 by KO/TKOs.

Both Adiwang and Brooks had some heated exchange of words in social media prior to this contest being official and now, they will have the chance to settle the score inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
