The Pittsburgh Steelers season took another devastating loss even after a much-needed win against the Denver Broncos. Juju Smith-Schuster went down with a shoulder injury in the second quarter after only catching one pass from Ben Roethlisberger. Per Ian Rapoport of the NFL network, Smith-Schuster went into surgery Sunday night that will ultimately end his 2021 season.
Juju Smith-Schuster to Miss Rest of 2021 Season
Sources: #Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster had surgery last night on his injured shoulder and is out for the season. The procedure was successful. A tough loss for a Pittsburgh offense that is showing signs of hitting its stride.

Before going down, he had 15 catches with 129 yards on the season. This could hurt the Steelers moving forward at the wide receiver position. James Washington was out against Denver with a groin injury. Not to mention the lengthy injury histories of Chase Claypool and Diontae Johnson. It looks like we will see Ray-Ray McCloud and rookie Cody White will get some snaps moving forward.
