BRAVE Combat Federation is returning to Russia on November 6 to host another electrifying live event.
In the main event, hometown favorite Ali “The King Puncher” Bagautinov is set to continue his impressive form against Jose “Shorty” Torres of the United States, in the last semifinal match-up of the BRAVE Flyweight World Title Tournament.
Tale Of The Tape

The 29-year-old Torres of Chicago, Illinois previously held the flyweight and bantamweight belts at North American promotion Titan FC, as well as a short spell at UFC where he was 1-1. Torres was also a champion in the amateur ranks, winning the 135-pound category at the IMMAF World Championships two years in a row.
The next target of Torres is to continue winning at BRAVE and enjoy global success at one of the fastest-growing promotions in MMA. However, it will be no easy task as Bagautinov has been in the game for more than a decade and has a wealth of fight experience on his resume. This includes his own stint in UFC where he held a 4-3 record, two of those losses coming against the greats of the Flyweight division Joseph Benavidez and Demetrious Johnson.
Aside from his wealth of experience, Bagautinov will have his countrymen behind him on fight night, which will most likely put added pressure on Torres to perform to the best of his ability. The winner of the said encounter will earn a seat in the exciting tournament finals to square off with the highly-touted Velimurad Alkhasov, to determine the first-ever BRAVE CF Flyweight World Champion at a future yet-to-be-announced event.
Both men are undefeated during their time at BRAVE with Bagautinov currently (2-0) and Torres (2-0-1), both men’s styles are very similar as both are very well-rounded martial artists who are equally as comfortable on the floor as they are on their feet. This fight promises to be the fight of the tournament and potentially fight of the year at BRAVE.
As always, all BRAVE CF events are available live and free worldwide on the BRAVE CF TV website.
