Two big changes have been announced ahead of ONE Championships latest event ONE: NEXTGEN that is being held this coming Friday, October 29th.

Last Minute Changes at NEXTGEN

Due to unfortunate circumstances, we have a new main event, the other half of the Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix Semi-Final between Stamp and Julie Mezabarba. This replaces the original crowning of ONE Championship’s first Heavyweight Kickboxing Title fight between Roman Kryklia and Iraj Azizpour. Kryklia has been withdrawn due to an undisclosed medical condition.

The other change has come at the expense of Japan’s Itsuki Hirata who has been replaced in the second women’s Atomweight Grand Prix bout against Ritu Phogat with fan-favorite Philippine Jenelyn Olsim. Hirata announced via her Instagram in a heart-felt apology that she had to, unfortunately, withdraw due to a high fever not related to Covid.

The ONE: NEXTGEN event is now as follows.
