It was recently reported that Cage Warriors had announced its next doubleheader of events, CW 131 and CW 132 taking part on the 10th and 11th of December. They have just announced their latest match-up for CW 132, and what a fight it’s going to be.
Oban Elliott vs. Madars Fleminas Set for CW 131
Oban Elliott vs. Madars Fleminas
The 10th of December will see the return of the Welsh Gangster Oban Elliott, who returns to the Cage Warriors cage looking to add to his impressive first-round knockout at CW127 over George McManus, where the Welsh man had an impressive return to winning ways after over a year out due to health issues.
Elliott has long been a fan favourite amongst the Cage Warriors faithful and has been rapidly building his way to the top, training out of Shore MMA, who themselves are on a run of good fortune in recent times with impressive wins from undefeated Jack Shore and their hugely successful result at the recent Cage Warriors academy event that saw seven of their nine competitors leave with the win.
Elliott will be looking to utilise his crisp striking to put away his veteran Cage Warriors opponent in Flaminas and get himself one step closer to the Cage Warriors Championship he craves.
Elliott’s opponent on the day is Madars Fleminas. The Latvian Express’s rise to the top of the Cage Warriors welterweight division had been derailed recently. Fleminas lost his unbeaten record and went onto a record of (1-3), two of which were stoppage losses to Jack Grant and Adam Procter, also losing by decision against Mateusz Figlak, whose brother Mike ironically took the undefeated record of Feminas’ opponent Elliott.
Fleminas will be looking to slow the hype of the Welshman Elliott and return to winning ways for what may be one final push for the Cage Warriors Welterweight Championship.
