“Only Took You Four Years” Jorge Masvidal Reacts to Dana White’s Backlash

Jorge Masvidal acknowledges Dana White’s praise in his recent verbal row with YouTube and social media influencer, Jake Paul.

Jake ‘Problem Child’ Paul called out Conor McGregor and a number of other UFC superstars following his spectacular knockout win over Tyron Woodley back in 2021. In his post-fight news conference, Paul turned his attention to former two-weight UFC champion McGregor and current welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.

Paul said: “I just knocked out a five-time UFC champion and embarrassed your whole company. Please, please let me get Kamaru Usman, let me get Diaz, let me get Masvidal, let me get McGregor because I’m going to embarrass them too.”

Masvidal is on a two-fight losing streak, having suffered back-to-back UFC championship defeats to Kamaru Usman. He, however, took to social media issuing a response to Jake Paul: “You can’t f**king afford me. Me and those other names you mentioned, you can’t f**king afford.” “I know what you pay. You talk a big game. You say $50 million there, $100 million there. Bullsh*t.” “I’ll tell you a little secret; I fight for money or I fight for the best in the world. You’re neither.”

The Boxing star is currently undefeated and took to social media once again to state he’ll permanently step away from boxing if Dana White accepts three conditions-one of which implies fighting Jorge Masvidal at the UFC.

However, White fired back: “That thing that you came out with today: nobody on earth thinks that you really wrote that. You’re too stupid.”

Dana White also launched jibes at his former staff member labeling him a scumbag and telling them to set up their own business: “Go start your own business. It’s easy to do, get the warlock on it. The warlock can get it started for you.”
“What you and the warlock should be focused on is your business. You’re tanking. You can’t sell pay-per-views.” “You’re calling out Jorge Masvidal because he’s a pay-per-view superstar. Nate Diaz, Conor McGregor, Mike Tyson – these are all superstars.”

Masvidal, once again, in the middle of the ongoing words war between his boss and Jake Paul, came across his boss’s video and responded: “Thank you to my employer for recognizing my hard work. Only took you 4 years 🤣🤣 #supernecessary”-he tweeted.

Does Jake Paul really have what it takes to compete with the UFC superstars? Would you prefer a match-up in a boxing ring or in the Octagon? Let us know!
