Headliners for ONE’s Following Events

After dethroning Aung La N Sang to be the undisputed two-division champion, Reinier De Ridder is now scheduled to face the reigning Welterweight Champion, Kiamrian Abbasov for his first title defense of the middleweight title on February 25 for ONE’s Full Circle card.

This is going to be a super match between two champions as Abbasov moves up a weight class to challenge the “Dutch Knight” for his title. De Ridder is coming off his the light heavyweight triumph over N Sang to become a two-division champion via unanimous decision, while Abbasov was successful in his maiden championship defense against James Nakashima through foruth round TKO.

Elsewhere, Thanh Le, the current ONE Featherweight champion is also bound for his first title defense versus number two contender Garry Tonon on March 11 in the main event of ONE: Lights out.

Le became the featherweight king after stopping Martin Nguyen in their title showdown in October 2020 via third round TKO. Prior to that championship triumph, Thanh has finished all three of his opponents under the ONE banner by way of knockout.

On the other hand, Garry Tonon earned his title shot by defeating all of his six mixed martial arts opponents in the promotion and remained undefeated in the process.
