One of the Italian National Team and Napoli’s best players are in the market for a new team; at least, he was. Lorenzo Insigne is on his way out of his home country for a new journey come July 1st. According to multiple sources, including Fabrizio Romano, Lorenzo Insigne has signed a 4-year contract with Toronto FC of Major League Soccer.

What Does His Signing Mean?
Major League Soccer has been known as a “retirement league” for the majority of its existence. But with Lorenzo Insigne coming to the league while still in his prime, this could be the turning point the league has wanted for a while. The likes of Kaka, David Villa, Wayne Rooney, David Beckham, among many others, have played in the MLS, but that was at the tail-end of their careers.
