UFC 271 Gambling Guide

The time has come for yet another UFC PPV. If the world is spinning, then the OTH gambling guide is being written. Here are the best bets for UFC 271.

Blood Diamond to Win Against Jeremiah Wells (+190)

Blood Diamond is most notable for being a teammate of Israel Adesanya. At least, that’s how the UFC has chosen to market him. He is a pretty sizable underdog here against Jeremiah Wells. However, there are intangibles the oddsmakers simply are not considering. A guy who calls himself “Blood Diamond” is automatically more dangerous than the average human being. The confidence it takes to rock such a cool nickname is unmatched. Blood Diamond’s name is so cool that he doesn’t even show up in the news as Mike Mathetha (his real name). When he signed with the UFC, all news outlets called him Blood Diamond! This is “The Korean Zombie” level of nickname success. Anyone who doesn’t get in Blood Diamond’s corner this weekend will undoubtedly regret it.

Alexander Hernandez to Win Against Renato Moicano (+140)

It is no secret that Alexander Hernandez is consistently one of the most hated fighters in the UFC. Ever since that infamous press conference showing / TKO loss to Cowboy Cerrone fans have been anything but easy on Hernandez. Despite what his haters (of which there are many) will tell you, these odds are disrespectful to Hernandez. No disrespect intended to Renato Moicano, but he has fallen victim to good boxers with heavy hands multiple times in the past. There’s good value on Hernandez as the underdog here. He is going to pull two upsets off on Saturday night. He will upset Moicano in the cage, and then he will upset fans everywhere with his post-fight interview.

Bobby Green to Win Against Nasrat Haqparast (-140)

Bobby Green has never gotten enough credit, Green has been in the UFC since 2013, and he was fighting in Strikeforce in 2011. Most guys from that era of MMA are starting to fade out and retire. Not Bobby Green. Recently Green has used a string of impressive performances to solidify his legacy as one of the most entertaining and dangerous action fighters the UFC has ever had on their roster. The man does not participate in boring fights. He’s a fighter’s fighter in the truest sense of the term, and he’s got the perfect opponent for Saturday night. Nasrat Haqparast is no easy fight, and he shows up to scrap as well. Unfortunately for him, this makes him a great matchup for the career brawler in Green. Green will get the better of most striking exchanges while simultaneously participating in Kevin Holland levels of mid-fight trash talk.

Blonde Brunson To Win against Jared Cannonier (+145)

Words are unnecessary. Blonde Brunson is the king.

Favorites parlay (+177)

The best way to use a high density of big favorites is to throw ’em all together. The favorites parlay is as follows.

  • Carlos Ulberg to win against Fabio Cherant (-250)
  • Casey O’Neill to win against Roxanne Modaferri (-380)
  • Alex Perez to win against Matt Schnell (-380)
  • Kyler Phillips to win against (-410)

As usual, there is no conceivable way that this parlay loses. This parlay winning is as inevitable as the crushing presence of death itself. Anyone who does not empty their account on this parlay is a coward.

If you chase these bets feel free to comment and share your experience whether it be positive or negative and if you have any good bets to add don’t hesitate to start up a discussion.
