The North Carolina Tar Heels beat the Louisville Cardinals by a score of 70-63 on Monday February 21st. The Tar Heels finished on a 6-0 run in which they held the Cardinals scoreless for the final 2 minutes and 50 seconds. The Cardinals made one out of their last nine shots in the second half.

Here are the players of the game:

Armando Bacot

Bacot had a double-double posting 12 points and 15 rebounds for his 21st double-double of the season. In addition to his double-double, he also swatted six shots in the outing. His full strengths are interior defense, standout rebounder, excellent length, and a developing offensive game. He was a complete force showing out all of his strengths on both sides of the basketball during the game.

R.J. Davis

Davis scored 16 points in the game. His ability to hit tough shots at a high level powered him to the high-point performance. Also, he has a score-first mentality whenever he is in the game. Lastly, he got it done on the defensive end as well with three steals in the game.

Caleb Love

Love’s scoring ability was on full display in the game as he scored 16 points. He also recorded five assists. His greatest strengths are getting downhill and scoring above the rim. Offensively, he was dominant for the team in their seven-point win.

Brady Manek

Manek was shooting threes at a great rate during the game hitting three of them in the game. He finished with 17 points. His best attributes are spacing the floor and hitting 3-pointers. This really transformed the team on the offensive side of the basketball game in this matchup.

These four players really showed out in the win against the Cardinals improving their record to 20-8 overall and 12-5 in the Atlantic Coastal Conference.
