Following ONE Championship’s historic 10th-anniversary card at ONE X, ONE Championship is keeping the momentum rolling with ONE RELOADED on Friday, April 22.
ONE Reloaded Preview: Buchecha vs. Reug Reug
The event will be headlined by two World Title bouts in the all-striking ONE Super Series.
The main event sees ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Champion Regian Eersel defend his gold against Adrian Sadikovic.
The scintillating main event is preceeded with the inaugural ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai World Title bout between Jackie Buntan and Smilla Sundell.

Heavyweights Collide
A mammoth showdown between two of the Heavyweight division’s most popular rising stars will take place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
A year after they were first slated to face off at ONE on TNT I, thirteen-time BJJ World Champion Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida will look to continue his flawless transition to MMA following a pair of impressive first-round victories. The Brazilian phenom submitted Anderson “Braddock” Silva in his debut and then scored another submission victory over the previously undefeated powerhouse Kang Ji Won at ONE WINTER WARRIORS in December.
Buchecha steps into the ONE Circle against Senegalese superstar Omar “Reug Reug” Kane who brings a completely different type of threat to “Buchecha” when they meet inside the Circle.
To date the Brazilian has only faced strikers in his first two appearances, but “Reug Reug” owns an explosive wrestling game that could be far more of a challenge to navigate for the BJJ specialist.
Will @MarcusBuchecha also submit Reug Reug on 22 April? 🤔 #WeAreONE #ONEChampionship pic.twitter.com/zh7R4jdhis

Buchecha’s scary submission threat and Reug Reug’s powerful wrestling could negate each other and force them to showcase their respective improvements in other areas of their MMA skillset.
Adding to the intrigue surrounding this contest, a win for either man would make a big statement in a rapidly expanding division.
ONE Heavyweight World Champion Arjan Bhullar and ONE Interim Heavyweight World Champion Anatoly Malykhin will no doubt be watching the proceedings with a close eye.
