On Saturday, October 29, 2022, the first edition of HIT IT, a brand new sports and live entertainment show, will take place in Rotterdam Ahoy, Netherlands. The event will consist of professional athletes who will compete in boxing matches and celebrity guests who will also get into action in the ring. In addition, various entertainment artists will provide music performances, hosting a spectacular event.

HIT IT is putting together an event to watch on the back of the recent successes of Triller Fight Club, which showcased such names as legendary boxer Mike Tyson and media influencer Jake Paul.

HIT IT Fighters Include Celebrities and Athletes Alike

HIT IT will showcase its own legend in the form of “The King of Kickboxing”, Rico Verhoeven, the GLORY Heavyweight Kickboxing World Champion. The Dutchman has maintained a stellar career in the squared circle with a record of 58-10-0 in the professional circuit.

Verhoeven has been one of the driving forces behind HIT IT, so much so the World Champion is lacing up the gloves once more. According to a conversation Overtime Heroics had with his manager, Verhoeven will fight in HIT IT, most likely in an exhibition bout.

No opponent has currently been named for Verhoeven, although the fight has been agreed upon outside of his contract with Glory. It has been suggested that his appearance at HIT IT will be the last of 2022, per

The only other name currently announced to put on the gloves is legendary Netherlands footballer Dirk Kuyt who has 104 international caps for his country. He also scored 298 goals in 808 matches for clubs such as Liverpool and Fenerbache. Also involved in some capacity will be Timor Steffens, the dancer and choreographer who has appeared at events such as the American Billboard awards.
