Former UFC strawweight and flyweight competitor Paige VanZant will make her third appearance in the squared circle when BKFC heads to London on August 20th. This time, she is set to face off against Charisa Sigala.

The Fight

PVZ’s last appearance in the Octagon was at UFC 251 in 2020 in a losing effort against Amanda Ribas. VanZant exited the company shortly after, going 2-3 in her last five bouts with the promotion. Bare Knuckle Fight Championship signed the photogenic fighter shortly after.

Following two appearances for BKFC and multiple appearances for All Elite Wrestling, PVZ heads back to the squared circle still looking for her first win in the promotion. Her opponent will be BKFC fighter and OnlyFans star Charisa Sigala. BKFC President Dave Feldman confirmed the news to MMA Fighting saying:

“I think it’s going to add a lot of hype to this card,” Feldman said. “I know Paige is loved in the U.K., at least all the tabloids and everything like that, they love writing about her, so now we’re going to give them something to write about. I think it was just a great addition to an unbelievable main event and this undercard is just stacked.”

Paige VanZant Looks For Her First Win in the BKFC Squared Circle

Paige VanZant (0-2-0) joined BKFC after six years with the UFC. PVZ lost to Britain Hart and ex-UFC opponent Rachael Ostovich in back-to-back appearances. Following her unanimous decision loss to Ostovich, PVZ did not attend the post-fight press conference but posted an image on her Instagram account that read, “I will rise. I will always rise. Don’t you doubt that even for a second.”

Charisa Sigala (1-2-1) is looking for her second win in BKFC. After entering the promotion with consecutive losses to Taylor Starling and Pearl Gonzalez, Sigala got into the win column with a split decision victory over Jessica Link in October. Her last outing against Angela Danzig resulted in a majority draw at BKFC Fight Night: New York 2.
