BKFC brawler Tyler Goodjohn opened up about his sex addiction and adult film career ahead of his return to the squared circle at BKFC 27 in London.

Starting out as a traditional boxer, Goodjohn joined the fast-rising Bare Knuckle promotion in 2020. ‘Tornado’ is currently 1-1 in the promotion and looks to score his second win against James Lilley when the promotion heads to the UK on August 20.

While speaking to James English on his ‘Anything Goes’ podcast, Goodjohn opened up about his struggle with a sex addiction that was controlling his daily life.

“Sex was my thing. Every day, twice a day. It sounds great, but it’s really not, it’s unfulfilling, it’s quite shameful, embarrassing at times. And when you become reliant on that, and you’re feeling like you’re on your arse every day, and the only way to bring yourself up was to then have sex with someone it’s horrible.”

Goodjohn’s addiction led him down a different career path, becoming an adult film actor in order to get his daily fix.

“I got into doing porn, and that for me was like I could go and have sex with women and nothing’s coming off the back of it,” said Goodjohn. “It was just like I had to do it to get back up there, when I was down here.”

Likening it to drug and alcohol addictions, Goodjohn believes that his sex addiction was fueled by the need to constantly feel the rush of adrenaline that would accompany him when stepping into the ring for a fight.

“I don’t know if it’s because we’re used to always fighting, and having that high of fighting, and now we can see that we’re probably coming towards the end of it,” Goodjohn said.

Goodjohn has since moved on from his adult film career and is now focused on making the most of his opportunity with BKFC. ‘Tornado’ will be looking for his second win inside the squared circle when the promotion invades London on August 20th for BKFC 27. Scheduled to appear in the main event is Bellator MMA’s fan-favorite Michael ‘Venom’ Page. He crosses over to toe the line with ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry in a highly anticipated co-promoted main event.
