Former UFC star turned BKFC brawler Paige VanZant returns to the squared circle for her third outing with the promotion when they invade London for BKFC 27 on August 20th.

On that night, ’12 Gauge’ will toe the line with Charisa Sigala. Both fighters will be looking to get into the win column with Sigala coming off of a majority draw against Jessica Link in her last outing and VanZant seeking her first win with the promotion after back-to-back losses to Britain Hart and Rachael Ostovich.

While both ladies have always put on a show for fans inside the arena, it’s their work online that seems to get much of the attention. Both VanZant and Sigala are successful figures on OnlyFans, a subscription-based social media platform where users can sell and/or purchase original content. As a result, the scheduled scrap between the two photogenic fighters has been dubbed by fans as the ‘OnlyFans Championship.’

In an exclusive interview with Daily Star Sports, Paige VanZant responded to the unofficial title by refusing to acknowledge it.

“I don’t know if I have a reaction to that,” VanZant said. “I mean, you have to understand that both my opponent and me are two females doing what a lot of people cannot do. You know, 99.9% of the world would never have a boxing match, let alone a bare-knuckle boxing match. So, we are doing something nobody else can do.

I see it as I’ve been extremely successful in a lot of things, and there is a reason that I choose to fight. I get to make it a choice. A lot of people have to do these things, they have to wake up and go to work. But I get to do whatever I want, because I have been extremely smart financially. I am really lucky that I get to go out and do what I love.”

Paige VanZant’s BKFC Career Could Come to an End With a Loss to Charisa Sigala

Entering the promotion with much hype, Paige VanZant has failed to live up to said hype, dropping her first two contests inside the squared circle. In her third appearance, ’12 Gauge’ may be fighting for her job. BKFC President Dave Feldman stated in an interview with GiveMeSport that a third-straight loss would likely result in VanZant’s release from the promotion.

“If Paige loses, her bare-knuckle career is definitely at an end.”

Feldman has since walked back the comment to some extent, saying that should VanZant lose, she may still have a home with the promotion if she gives a strong showing.

“But, you know, I can’t keep saying after every fight, we’ll see how she does.”

Paige VanZant was one of the promotion’s first high-profile signings. Recently, BKFC has bolstered its roster with former UFC talents such as Felice Herrig, ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry, John Dodson, Ben Rothwell, and Greg Hardy. BKFC has also made a splash by signing Muay Thai legends Buakaw Banchamek and Saenchai.
