2023 Toronto Blue Jays Schedule Breakdown

The Toronto Blue Jays schedule for the 2023 MLB season has been released. The Blue Jays will welcome fans to a newly renovated stadium starting next season which will be exciting for all visitors as the 2023 season planning begins.

Early Season

The Toronto Blue Jays will open the 2023 season with a three game series against the St. Louis Cardinals, in St. Louis. The first game of the 2023 season will be Thursday March 30th, 2023 and then both teams will have a day off before returning to action Saturday and Sunday with games two and three. 

The Blue Jays will then head right to Kansas City for a four game series against the Kansas City Royals, that series begins Monday April 3-6, 2023. This series will make it six games in six days for the Blue Jays all on the road. 

The Blue Jays schedule sees the team continue on to California following their four game series in Kansas City. Toronto will take on the Los Angeles Angels in a three game series starting Friday April 7, 2023. This will end the teams lengthy road trip to begin the season. 

The Toronto Blue Jays home opener will be Tuesday April 11, 2023 against the Detroit Tigers for a three game series. The newly finished renovations will be displayed for a full Rogers Centre during the opening home stand. 

A Tougher Stretch

The Blue Jays will then welcome the Tampa Bay Rays to the Rogers Centre for a three game series. Toronto will wrap up this series making it so straight games at home before they pack the bags and hit the road once again. 

The Toronto Blue Jays will play 10 games on the road before the home opener in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Blue Jays will play a total of 16 games on the road and the Blue Jays will play 12 home games throughout the opening month of the 2023 MLB Schedule. The final game of the Blue Jays season will be October 1st against the Tampa Bay Rays in Toronto.

The Blue Jays longest stretch of consecutive games will be 17 games in a row in the month of May. The 17 game stretch will begin in Toronto with a three game series against the Atlanta Braves on May 12th, and the 17 straight game stretch will end on the road in Minnesota against the Minnesota Twins.

Another notable game for Toronto Blue Jays fans is July 1st, 2023 – Canada Day game will be played in Toronto against divisional rivals the Boston Red Sox
