Three NFL Match-Ups to Watch Out For This Weekend

With the season in full swing after two weeks of entertaining fixtures, anticipation is already high ahead of another weekend of NFL action.

With another schedule of NFL matches coming up this weekend, here are three games to keep an eye on.

Miami Dolphins vs Buffalo Bills

Two teams who have won both of their outings so far this season, and the Buffalo Bills travel to Miami hoping to extend their perfect record. A resounding 41-7 victory over the Tennessee Titans came after the Bills triumphed 31-10 at the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Los Angeles Rams on opening day. Similarly, the Miami Dolphins boast two wins to their name, with their opening day victory over the New England Patriots backed up by last weekend’s triumph over the Baltimore Ravens.

With both teams having won two from two, something will have to give this weekend and history suggests a Bills victory could be on the card. The Buffalo Bills have won their last seven meetings against the Dolphins, with Sean McDermott’s team eyeing up an eighth this weekend.

Tennessee Titans vs Las Vegas Raiders

From one extreme to another, the Titans will be looking for their first victory of the season against a Las Vegas Raiders side, who are also without a win. Just edged out by the New York Giants on opening night, they swapped a slender 21-20 defeat for a slightly less convincing 41-7 thrashing to the Bills in week two.

It’s left the Titans bottom of the AFC South Division and they’ll resume their search for a maiden victory against the team bottom of the West. Losers in over time against the Arizona Cardinals last weekend, the Raiders are still without a win, after falling to the Los Angeles Chargers in week one. Both sides will take optimism from a relatively strong head-to-head record, with the pair having evenly split the previous six meetings with three wins each.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Green Bay Packers

Two of the preseason Super Bowl favourites, the 2021 champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take on four-time winners Green Bay Packers this weekend.

Todd Bowles’s side have gotten off to a perfect start in NFL, having taken two wins from the opening two weeks of action. Having done U-turn on his retirement last year, Tom Brady has once again started the season in fine form, as the 45-year-old eyes up a eighth Super Bowl ring. There are high hopes surrounding the Green Bay Packers’ chances this season and after a disappointing opening day defeat to the Minnesota Vikings, they bounced back with a weekend win over the Chicago Bears.

History is not in Green Bay’s favour heading into the weekend clash, as the visitors have lost five of their last eight against Tampa Bay.
