Benfica is known for its ability to spot emerging talents and nurture them into football stars. The 21-year-old Enzo Fernandez is among the latest stars to emerge in the Portuguese team. If you"ve watched Liverpool"s Thiago Silva, then Enzo Fernandes is his younger version.

Fernandez has been an important player for Argentina in this year"s tournament. He did not start Argentina"s first game, which they lost to Saudi Arabia. He also came off the bench for the game against Mexico.

However, he was given his first start against Poland, and that decision by Lionel Scaloni was a masterstroke. His remarkable ball handling and ability to find his teammates with critical passes have been important to Argentina. Fernandez is also a good ball taker helping his team to recycle possession. He will be a key player in the next match as Argentina faces the Netherlands.

Cody Gapko

The Dutch forward was already sending shockwaves in European football before the World Cup. He was scoring goals for PSV and providing assists for his teammates. In fact, most World Cup betting fans probably have him on their list of golden boot contenders.

Gapko has had an impressive start to the tournament, scoring three goals in the first three World Cup matches. Interestingly, all three goals show his different attributes as an attacker that make him stand out. For example, he scored one goal with his right foot, the other with his left foot, and the other was a brilliant header.

That shows how all-rounded the attacker is. Additionally, he has shown that he can operate in different attacking positions, making him one of Van Gaal"s lethal weapons. He will be one to watch when the Dutch face one of their biggest tests of the tournament – Argentina.
