Dana White announced the UFC is working on a documentary and also working with Adam Sandler to develop a comedy based around the UFC recently in an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.

White and Sandler Team Up

Dana White was asked about his involvement in the ‘new" Conor McGregor documentary on Netflix- McGregor Forever and if UFC fighters approach him to get a documentary done or do they do it themselves.

White responded, "Well, no, Conor did that. Conor is a different animal, I mean he’s a global superstar.  It’s not easy to just whip out a documentary. We [UFC] have a doc, we’re doing a deal right now with Roku, we’re filming a documentary behind the scenes of the UFC, it’ll come out later this year." McAfee then asked if it was following White’s day-to-day work with the UFC to which White answered, "The whole business. You guys will see all the behind-the-scenes."

White then announced his and the UFC’s partnership with superstar actor/comedian- Adam Sandler. "We’re working on that [UFC Documentary] and we’re also working on a show right now with Adam Sandler that’s a comedy about working in the offices at the UFC."

McAfee then expressed his excitement for the news, "It’s going to be a hit, Sandman’s [Sandler] involved, it’s going to be a home run. I couldn’t have heard better f****** news than Dana White and Sandman are teaming up together."
It"s worth noting that Sandler is represented by William Morris Endeavor (the Owners of the UFC). Happy Madison which is Sandler"s production company has produced numerous shows and movies throughout the years. Happy Madison also helped produce another MMA-centric piece of media which was Here Comes the Boom starring Kevin James. The UFC was heavily involved in that film as the promotion licensed its name for use during the production of the film, the film heavily focused on the sport of MMA and the UFC promotion.
