12:35 Dodgers @ Phillies – The Phillies send Aaron Nola to the mound against Ross Stripling for the Dodgers. The Indians are 6-0 in Bauer’s last six starts against teams with a losing record. Cleveland is 11-1 against the Tigers on the year with ten of those wins being by two runs or more.

9:45 Mets @ Giants – Many people wrote the Giants off this season. After winning 13 of their last 16 games, they are 2.5 games within a wild card spot. They send their ace Madison Bumgarner to the mound, and they have won six of his last eight home starts. In his last three home starts, he has given up four runs in fifteen innings (2.40 ERA). Noah Syndergaard is pitching for the Mets, and he is 2-2 with a 4.68 ERA on the road this year. When these two pitchers faced each other on June 4, the Giants won 9-3. Take them again today.
Flier of the day
1:05 Blue Jays @ Red Sox – Chris Sale is on the mound today for Boston. The Toronto Blue Jays have had Chris Sale’s number this season, as Sale has given up fourteen runs in fourteen and ⅔ innings pitched against the Blue Jays. Sale is 0-2 against Toronto this season, and was losing 5-1 when he left the only game he did not get a loss in. The Red Sox have lost his last three starts, losing those three games by a margin of 25-12. Even though the Blue Jays are starting Thomas Pannone who hasn’t started a game in over two months, the Jays have a decent chance to steal this game and even the series.
