Breakin News: Buddy Hield agrees to a 4-year extension

According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, Buddy Hield agreed to a 4-year extension worth 86 million in guaranteed money with 20 million in incentives.

This comes on the heels of Buddy Hield’s very public issues with the current contract negotiations. But it seems that whatever issues were holding up the negotiations have been resolved.

Hield is coming off his best season last year where he averaged 20.7 points a game and played in all 82 games. Initially, just an extra piece in the Demarcus Cousins trade Hield has turned into one of the better young guards in the league.

Stay tuned for more on this breaking story as updates come in.
